SUSHIMOTO 鮨元: DELICATE FOOD IN A COZY, TINY PLACE

Sushimoto is also one of my favourite Japanese restaurants! I just realized that I've been writing reviews of Japanese restaurants only... and all of the reviews start with "this is my favourite place!" I just can't get enough sushi, and I am enjoying when I am reviewing my favourite restaurants. Sushimoto is a small Korean-owned Japanese restaurant having about 7 small tables, 3 big tables and sushi bars. On the day we visited, it was pretty busy so we ate at sushi bar while waiting for the table.
There is a lot of action figures and collectibles at sushi bar!
Of course, we started off with SALMON SASHIMI ($10.00). A small order consists of 5 pieces for $6 and the large one comes with 10 pieces for $10. As usual, sashimi tasted great and the texture was very firm too.
PRAWN TEMPURA ($7.90)
IKA GESO KARRAGE ($4.70)
TAKOYAKI
AWESOME CREAMCHEESE ROLL ($11.00) consisted of the avocado, crabmeat, cream cheese roll wrapped with baked salmon, negi, masago and bonito outside. Topped with spicy mayo and unagi sauce
LION KING ROLL ($12.00) consisted of California roll covered with baked tuna and tai, and topped with negi, masago, misonnaise, and spicy sauce

We got complimentary aburi salmon belly nigiri too!
