VILLAGE SUSHI BAR: A TINY JAPANESE-OWNED SUSHI PLACE

I always look for tiny Japanese (family) owned restaurants that serve amazingly fresh sushi. I found this kind of restaurants is very friendly and caring about customers' satisfactions more seriously. Just my opinion...
Village Sushi Bar is a very tiny restaurant, or more like a take-out place which is located on No. 2 Road in Stevetson.
There are about 4-5 tables with a small sushi bar that must be barely used by customers. Only one sushi man and two waitresses were working there so it took awhile to get our food served.
SPICY SEAFOOD SALAD was on their special menu on the day. There was a decent amount of fresh sashimi, avocado, and tobiko on a bed of lettuce. The sauce was a typical spicy mayo sauce. It was perfect for our appetizer (4.5/6.0)
CHIRASHI DON was a bit smaller than I expected. There were tuna, salmon, tuna tataki, unagi, ebi, tamago, avocado, crab meat, and tobiko on a bowl of "vinegary" sushi rice. I didn't like how the rice was over-seasoned.
Toro (3.5/6.0), Chopped Scallop (4.0/6.0), Dynamite Roll (5.0/6.0)
Salmon, Hotate, Ebi, Toro Nigiri Sushi
Overall, the food tasted alright but it didn't meet my high expectation. I felt like the place was overrated to get a 94%.

 PROS
+ Friendly service
+ Fresh sashimi
+ Decent food
+ Spicy seafood salad was good!

CONS
- The sushi rice was too vinegary for me
- Toro could be better..
