Blue Bella Pocha aka BB Pocha is a Korean cuisine bistro reminiscing of Gang-Nam street back in 80's and 90's with a modern twist - at least this is what they claim to be. On Saturday night my friends and I wandered around Robson to find somewhere to eat Korean chicken, and we ended up here. They offer a wide range of Korean drinking snacks that go well with beer and soju.
After reading a lot of bad reviews about this place, I was wondering why... because my experience was pretty satisfying as the service and food were both good!
Complimentary side-dish (or drinking snacks) came as soon as we ordered. Koreans all know what this metal tray is. The food was served on sectioned metal tray that is widely-used at Korean public schools. I've never expected to eat something off of the metal tray again in my life. It was pretty interesting! Back to food, the complimentary side dishes had some spicy rice cake (tteok-bbok-ggi), edamame, pan-fried fish, fries and fish cake soup (o-den-tang). Everything was a bit cold and wished they warmed it before serving.
A Fresh Mussels Soup 홍합탕 ($14.95) had a decent amount of mussels, but tasted just average.
I liked BB Pocha's Yang-Nyum Chicken ($19.95). I came on a bed of cabbage salad and topped with some peanuts. The skin still had a good crisp on the outside although the chicken was already mixed with the sauce. I liked their special sweet spicy sauce as well.

+ Service was pretty good. Prompt and attentive
+ Open until late

- Washroom was a bit messy
- Seats are not comfortable to sit there long enough
- Tables were not clean although they wiped before we seated
