Kyabia Japanese Restaurant: Decent Japanese Izakaya in Golden Village

I was looking for a decent izakaya near my place in Richmond, and Kyabia seemed to be a great option since it was only a minute away from my home and it is pretty newly opened! My friend and I weren't so hungry so we ordered some sashimi and sake to start with.
Assorted Sashimi ($23.95) was fresh and placed nicely on a pile of ice. Hamachi and amaebi were my favourite! I believe the items change on a daily basis. We've got Atlantic salmon, octopus, hamachi, amaebi and white tuna.
We also ordered a Suiyaki Beef Hotpot ($12.50) which was a perfect portion for one person to be filled up easily. It was flavourful with a decent amount of beef and veggies.
I'm not so sure if I would come back if I don't live close by, but since this place is the closest izakaya for late sake night I might visit again in the near future.
