Sushi Hachi: Best in Richmond

Sushi Hachi has been on my wishlist for a very long time, and I finally got to try it. They open only 5 days a week for 3 hours a day, and usually fully booked throughout the weekdays. I was lucky enough to make a reservation on the same day I was planning to visit.
Unagi, Amaebi & Hamachi Nigiri Sushi
Although I am a huge fan of hamachi over anything, Unagi was very impressive than anything else. I started thinking I might have been eating unagi wrong all these years.
Considering its high quality this Chef's Choice Sushi is ridiculously cheap and worth the price. For 10 pieces of nigiri sushi + 1 maki, it's well-priced for $25. I must admit that every piece was amazing, and specifically I was astonished by this tekka maki. I never ordered a maki for myself unless it comes with a combo. Usually it tastes just simple and kind of bland for my liking. But then Sushi Hachi's maki changed my whole perception! Nori itself was very tasty which went very well with the warm rice and delicate, sweet tekka inside. I'd eat 5 orders of this.
Another must-have at Sushi Hachi is Chef's Choice Sashimi ($25). You get a good selection of sashimi with 6+ different kinds. Everything was very fresh, and nicely sliced in good size.
